Before I start studying for my first test of the school year, I wanted to pray and read the Bible. As I was sitting here doing so, I was drawn back to my favorite story from the Gospel...

It's from Mark 5:35-43.

It's the story of Jesus raising the synagogue ruler's daughter from the dead. Whenever I read this passage, it's a reminder to me of how great God is. When Jairus, the ruler, was faced with probably the greatest tragedy he'd face in his lifetime is before Jesus and distraught with his daughter's death, Jesus said, "Don't be afraid; just believe." DON'T BE AFRAID; JUST BELIEVE. Don't be afraid; just believe.
