Hey Guys! 

I know most of you are still in high school and not yet of legal age to vote yet, but I ask that you keep the upcoming elections in your prayers.  Pray that the voters will pick the presidential candidate that God has chosen and wants to place in leadership and that the new president will fear God and run the affairs of the country according to God's plan and will.

I reminded what our Sr Pastor Daniel spoke about Props 4 & 8 during Vision Worship for those that have attended.  As you are all aware, Prop 4 requires parental consent to have an abortion if the patient is not of legal age which is 18 years old.  Currently, anyone can have an abortion without parental consent and a fetus' life inside a woman's womb is truly a gift from God and should not be harmed in any way possible.

Prop 8 is the definition of "legal marriage."  This law will make marriage officially between a man and a woman and not man and a man nor a woman and a woman.  The one thing that our Sr Pastor Daniel mentioned during his message is to love the person, but hate the sin.  Unfortunately, this is a concept that many people and even non-christians do not understand. 

I know this was a long and boring prayer request, but I am further reminded that everything happens according to God's will and purpose. I pray that God will work in this land and to heal this land.  If you get the opportunity, I would highly recommend listening to Sr Pastor's message for Vision Worship and also the Sunday Service where he will go more in depth about how God will "Heal this Land."
